Help improve dementia care in Nova Scotia!
Help improve dementia care in Nova Scotia!
We are currently recruiting individuals to participate in our province-wide survey that will be used to identify the current needs of persons with dementia, and explore ways in which telehealth and virtual supports can be used to improve care throughout the province. We are writing to you in hopes that you would consider helping us spread the word about this study. Details are below:
Do you or someone you know live with dementia? Or do you provide clinical care for persons with dementia? You may be eligible to participate in the research study Identifying and Understanding Gaps in Dementia Care
Led by Dr. Paula McLaughlin, the survey will be used to identify the current needs of persons with dementia in Nova Scotia and explore ways in which telehealth and virtual supports can be used to improve care throughout the province. The survey is open to Nova Scotians with dementia who are living in the community, their caregivers, family members and care partners. It is also open to Nova Scotia Health healthcare professionals who provide care to those with dementia.

Participants will need to complete a 20- to 30- minute survey (paper or online) on their experiences with dementia care in Nova Scotia. To participate or learn more, contact Lindsey Puddicombe, research coordinator at 902-473-4263 or via e-mail at Lindsey.Puddicombe@nshealth.ca.
