Art, relationships, and living with dementia

Connecting Through Art  - A presentation about art, relationships, and living with dementia
The arts offer many unique ways of connecting together and strengthening relationships. During this informative session, Alzheimer Society Social Worker Aynsley Moorhouse will share many insights from her research as well as personal experiences of creating artwork with her father, who lived with dementia. Aynsley will share how this experience strengthened their relationship, brought them great joy, and led Aynsley to a deeper and more meaningful understanding of dementia and memory loss.
By attending this session, you will have an opportunity to gain new insights on ways of connecting together through art.
