The Alzheimer Society of Grey Bruce is a key speaker at the Engaging Conversations 2016 conference for empowering arts and culture organizations. It is being held on May 2 and 3rd in Meaford. It's intended for any arts and culture organization but also those working in long-term care, day programs and any organization working with people who have congitive challenges. Fighting dementia with art - The VON Intergenerational Expressive Art program, which matched high school students with community clients with early to mid-stage dementia to complete different pieces of art, opened its exhibition to the public on Monday, March 14, at the Museum Strathroy-Caradoc.
All the pieces created by the students and the local VON clients will be exhibited until April 11.
