Design Guidelines
Hello, Is there a guide of recommendations for design and process to implement in LTC/hospital settings who serve patients with dementia? As an example, for our ambulatory geriatric clinics, we are wondering what should we have playing on the TV? Lyndsey

RE:Design Guidelines
Hi Lyndsey,

Have you checked out the Design and Dementia info that can be found in the brainXchange's resource centre? You can find it here: design and dementia link

We have a great deal of information that may prove helpful.  As always though we encourage our members to provide resources as well!

Hi Lyndsey,
You may also want to contact your local Psychogeriatric Resource Consultant (PRC) to get some strategies and resources for the more specific questions you have. You can find a list of PRC contacts here - http://brainxchange.ca/Public/Resource-Centre-Topics-A-to-Z/Psychogeriatric-Resource-Consultants.aspx.

Kathy.
