Depression and depressive symptoms are common as we age and even more common for those living in long term care. To understand how we can best approach care for depression in long term care, we created a clinical care pathway based on available clinical evidence and expert opinion and performed interviews to examine barriers and facilitators to depression management.

We will review our findings and the best approaches to managing these challenging symptoms.
