In this interactive 2-hour workshop, sponsored by the The Canadian Coalition for Seniors' Mental Health (CCSMH), participants had the opportunity to explore the issue of stigma and mental illness in late life, including the perspective of seniors’ with lived experience, and develop strategies and action plans for reducing and eliminating stigma.  

The CCSMH has been funded by the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) to develop and evaluate strategies to support health professionals and students in addressing stigma experienced by older adults living with a mental health problem or illness.
