In partnership with the Ontario CLRI and the Person-Centred Language Working Group, we’re excited to recognize the extraordinary efforts of champions who are dedicated to creating supportive and life-affirming environments for residents, family care partners and team members.

The Person-Centred Language Award celebrates residents, family members, team members or leaders who engage in inclusive, verbal and non-verbal communication practices that focus on the individual and their unique preferences and needs. Through their passion and commitment, person-centred language champions help foster an environment of compassion, dignity and respect.
