This webinar will describe a nurse mentoring program initiated by Dr Philippe Voyer at the Centre d'excellence sur le vieillissement de Québec. Three studies will be presented, which evaluated the effects of the mentoring program on non-pharmacological interventions for behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD) among seniors in long-term care.

A complementary study focusing on nurse-pharmacist collaboration in long-term care settings, and its results regarding the use of antipsychotics for BPSD will also be presented.

This integrated KTE webinar event is brought to you by brainXchange in partnership with the Alzheimer Society of Canada and the Canadian Consortium of Neurodegeneration in Aging (CCNA)
