Explore strategies to apply knowledge brokering skills to advance practice at individual, organizational and system levels.
The CDRAKE team will facilitate 'The Knowledge Broker in You' workshop at the Canadian Coalition for Seniors' Mental Health 4th Annual Conference: Connecting Research & Education to Care in Seniors' Mental Health, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The purpose of the workshop is to explore the potential of knowledge brokering as a knowledge translation (KT) facilitation strategy. Attend this session and you will:
- know more about knowledge brokering both as a role within the context of an organization or network, and as an individual skill set that can be developed in those interested in evidence-informed decision-making;
- gain insight into successes and challenges in accessing and using evidence to inform practice; and together; and
- explore strategies to apply knowledge brokering skills to advance practice at individual, organizational and system levels.
