While Alzheimer Societies across Canada provide services and supports to people with dementia and their care partners, little is known about our work with Aboriginal Communities. With increasing awareness of dementia prevalence among the Aboriginal population, it is time to examine current service provision in Aboriginal communities. Join us for a brief presentation and a discussion on how to improve existing relationships with Aboriginal communities, and establish new ones where they don’t currently exist.
