This webinar focuses on adjusting… Adjusting to new roles, new environments and
new people.  This new "normal" is explored, all within the context of moving into a LTC home.

Tips on how to help the family adjust, how to help the family member who has moved in adjust, how the family can take care of themselves, how family can make the most of visits and what emotions they may experience will be discussed.  Suggestions on building relationships and working with staff at the LTC home are also provided as common concerns are described.

The personal story of one of the presenters will be shared with insights on what helped and lessoned learned as well as links to key resources.

This integrated KTE webinar event is brought to you by the brainXchange in partnership with the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
